It is now available the first microsatellites for Cymadusa filosa, an algae dwelling amphipod! In a paper led by Pedro A. S. Peres and prof. Fosca P. P. Leite (University of Campinas), Marianne described ten polymorphic microsatellites out of 22 developed genetic markers. These molecular tools will be useful for future ecological and evolutionary studies focusing this animal! If you are interested in reading the paper, please, click here.
