Our question oriented (rather than method or organism oriented) team addresses a broad range of questions in conservation, population and evolutionary biology using mainly genetic and genomic tools. 

 Our main goal is to address ecological and evolutionary questions using information from genetics, ecological, and environmental sciences. Usually, we quantify the genetic variation observed at organism and species levels, describe its organization and test ecological or environmental factors that have potentially shaped the most fundamental level of biodiversity.

Whenever possible, we also aim to use our findings based on genetic information to support real world conservation practices.
