Our paper regarding the genetic differentiation of an Atlantic rainforest tree in extremes of an elevation gradient is out! Check it out! - GM

In an elevational gradient, different altitudinal levels present different ecological conditions such that organisms that occupy distinct strata may be genetically different even in a fine geographic scale.  We observed a weak but significant genetic structure between populations of the Atlantic rainforest tree Tibouchina pulchra occupying the higher and lower areas of an elevational gradient in the Serra do Mar mountain range. Then we discuss some ecological factors underlying this genetic organization. (Link - or check Vinicius', Marianne's of GM's ResearchGate profiles).
